I have read the discussion forum and still not sure about what my customers will see on the thank you page.

Along with the "receipt", which I'm assuming is on the page, I'd like to provide instructions on how to open the zipped mp3 audio file, including a link to free software to unzip the file and a link to free software that plays the file.

I don't want to make the assumption that my customers know how this works.

You can enter the instructions in Admin > Preferences in the "thank you" page HTML field.

To do a dummy sale, reduce he product price to 0 and buy it yourself. You will be able to checkout using our free checkout rather than having to go through PayPal.
