Item Price and Sale Price

[%item_price%] (Price of the item)

[%sale_price%] (Price at which the item was sold, which can be different from the item price in case buyer used your discount code or if the item was sold in an auction etc.)

[%item_price%] is showing up as 0.00 still in the ThankYou letter on ebay sales. why is is taking so long to correct this?

[%sale_price%] is showing up without the cents portion now in the ThankYou letter on ebay sales. my items sell for even dollar amounts but that price should not be truncated like that. it messes up the format. until recently it used to be just zero. don't these things get tested before someone makes changes?

Can you please confirm that the price of your product in Admin is not 0?

Looking into it

I don't set any of those prices in ejunkie. And they probably are 0. My sales are from ebay as already mentioned.

Then you should not be using [%item_price%] .. it's the price of the item you enter in Admin. You should only be using [%sale_price%]

Time to update your site with that information. It is not clear to me that if it was an ebay sale then it can't be used. Look at your wording for it. It even talks about an 'auction'. Leads me to think its for eBay. And besides, why not populate it so the variables can be used logicvally instead of trying to decipher what will work for this site verses that site verses that payment processor, etc. It is a straight forward price varible.

Too many things in ejunkie are like this and cause these questions to keep coming up. It would be simpler to straighten out the site and clear up that stuff instead of taking theses questions all day long.

Also, what about sale_price? it only shows the rounded dollar amount. Shouldn't it show 59.00 instead of just 59 as a general rule of formating.

[%item_price%] (Price of the item) ... you set it to 0, you get 0. For sale price there is a [%sale_price%] template variable. I really fail to see your point.

As for your other issue, as I said earlier, we are looking into it. I am hoping you can allow us a few hours (24-48) to let us fix something which is not critical to the function of the service.

That was pointed out days ago.

You can take forever to fix it.

All I do is keep taking out the stuff that doesn't work and stop using it so I will never have a problem when your software changes again and you don't catch something. I don't like beta testing unless I am being paid for it.
