The digital product I am selling was made using an ebook maker thast has been updated. My product remains the same, the software behind it has been updated. Do I have to delete the current version to add the new one? Do I have to make any changes regarding my add to cart button on my web site?

If product file has changed, you need to re-upload it from Admin > Edit Product. The buttons code does not change unless you change the item number.
