My primary function is selling websites. I dont offer download products or anything like that at this time. Currently I use freshbooks.com for all my invoicing. The reason I am looking into this is because I dont need to send the customer an invoice, just create buy now buttons. My question is when a sale is made, will I be able to see in my account all sales that were made along with the customers name and email address? I need to keep track of who I am selling to. And once a site is sold, I would delete it from the list of products for sale but will the information of the sale still be in the system? # POSTED ON: October 20, 2007 @ 11:41 GMT -7 |

If you delete the product, the logs get removed as well. I will suggest making a generic "website" product and either set the price to 0.00, so the buyer can enter her own price or you can edit the price each time you are selling a new website. However that approach will work if you are only selling one website at a time. I see now that you have multiple websites on sale. If you want to get a little tricky, you can still create a generic website product with base price of say $1 and for each website you are selling, append the following to the purchase url: &on0=Website+Name&os0=[put_actual_website_name_here]& amount=[cost_of_website - base_price_you_set] # POSTED ON: October 20, 2007 @ 11:46 GMT -7 |

If your services have set prices then you could create say 5 products each with a different price and that would work fine. If each website has a different price than of course that would not work. # POSTED ON: October 20, 2007 @ 21:54 GMT -7 |
