I have a few non-download items that I list for sale. these are shipped once bought but the email has a link and says

"Please note, this link is temporary and will expire once you use it. If clicking on this link does not work, please copy paste it in your browser's address bar and press enter."

There is no need to have such a link as these items aren't downloaded. Can I fix this so this link email doesn't go to the purchaser?

This link will only be present if you enable product based redirection. You should use account based redirection instead (Admin > Preferences).
