I would like to give away a free ebook as a presell. How would I go about this with the link? Do I use a pay now button with Zero cost? or is there just a link I can use?

We currently do not provide a feature which can let you provide free downloads.

I am looking to find out wether or not I can use ejunkie, as a means to access control & track digital downloads, WITHOUT charging for them. I work for a Commecial photographer, and I am looking for a means by which to use something like a shopping cart for my clients to download thier photos, which they have already paid for, but maintain a "log" of which photos by whom, and when, without actually charging them any money for them. Will e-junkie accomplish this?

Sure, what you can do is to upload the digital photographs as products and then based on which client bought what, you can use Admin > Send Free Download to send them the products.

Could you please tell me how I can have a free item listed here? I am wanting to track all downloads, so that when a person goes through my checkout and selects a free item, i can see it along the item that they purchased. I know I can charge a penny, but i figured their must be a way to do it for free.

The feature went live this morning. You can now simply set the product price to 0.00 and buyers can checkout without paying anything.

Is there a way to send a free download link to a whole "buyer group"?
