We have problems when people send us echecks via Paypal. I've just received a complaint from a client who ordered 5 downloads on 1/17, the echeck didn't clear until 1/28. Though the transaction is all recorded in Paypal, she doesn't show up in the e-junkie log. So, I'm sending 5 separate "free links", not a big deal, but perhaps there's something in our code or preferences which isn't getting the report from paypal?
