Hi, I'm interested in possibly using E-Junkie for a small business but am not sure if it can handle my needs. What I am looking for is someone to be able to buy "virtual credits" from my site (those credits are used to purchase specific services and are handled on the site). After purchasing, there would need to be some way to automatically notify my site of the purchase and to increase the user's "credits" in the database. Is it possible with Ejunkie and how hard would it be? I've looked at the Paypal and Google Checkout API but it is pretty confusing. The programming language used is Ruby on Rails. # POSTED ON: February 14, 2008 @ 16:37 GMT -7 |

Sure, you can add a "credit" as a product in E-junkie admin and then use our buttons to sell those credits via Google Checkout, PayPal, Authorize.Net or even TrialPay. Since we take care of integrating with them, it will all be abstracted for you and you can simply use our integration to get sale notification (see our help page <http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.integration.php>). That will be sent to you as an HTTP POST and you can use any scripting language you want to process it. # POSTED ON: February 14, 2008 @ 16:38 GMT -7 |
