1. When someone uses Google checkout it doesn't show up on my e-junkie transactions. Is the file actually being downloaded?

2. I want to give away free copies to journalists, etc. but can't figure out how to make that work. Please advise.

1. No, that means that you have not followed the Google Checkout integration instructions. The link is provided in E-junkie Seller Admin > Edit Profile

2. You can either create a discount in the product that eqauls the product price and give that to journalists and direct them to your shop which has E-junkie cart buttons (buy now buttons can't support $0 checkout) OR you can individually send them download link from E-junkie Seller Admin > Send free thank you email, download, code.
