Is it possible to start a paid subscription without having a credit card or a debit card? For example, can the monthly fee be taken directly from my PayPal account balance?

If not, would the PayPal credit card suffice? (I see that PayPal will accept that as verification of an account.)

While subscribing you can set your funding source to your paypal balance (you can change the funding source in your paypal account by looking up this subscription) but PayPal does require your PayPal account to be tied to a credit card or bank account.
