I am considering switching from Share-It to E-junkie. I understand, I need a payment processor. The question is which one. It seems to me that PayPal is the easiest to set-up. I however get the impression that Authorize.net would be the more "professional" and lower cost solution. Right? Unfortunately the Authorize.net web site is utterly confusing. Do they work only with the banks they qualify as "resellers"? Can I set up credit card processing with any bank? # POSTED ON: February 16, 2008 @ 15:40 GMT -7 |

In my opinion PayPal is the easiest and most reliable solution. I can't comment about which one will be cheaper though. If you are in US and UK, I will strongly recommend offering Google Checkout along with PayPal as you will then be able to offer an easy solution to buyers who already have a Google Checkout account or ones who are not happy with PayPal for any reason. Also, their feestructure is really good, especially if you using Google Adwords. As for Authorize.Net, they work with merchant bank accounts. Their support will be the best people to answer your questions. # POSTED ON: February 16, 2008 @ 15:41 GMT -7 |
