So, for the digital items quantities people wouldn't really download 5 copies of the same ebook. I may have asked this on here before the forum change but I didn't get an answer. How can I set the item to only be a quantity purchase of 1. That would be different than the amount of times someone could download that item. # POSTED ON: October 24, 2007 @ 14:11 GMT -7 |

Quantity is by default 1 in the cart. There is no way to remove that field all togther from the case. The number of downloads a buyer get = download limit set by you X quantity purchased # POSTED ON: October 24, 2007 @ 15:08 GMT -7 |

I sold game codes, and I generally discourage people from buying more than one at the same time. The way I do that is by using buy-it-now button. So, the only quantity they can buy is just 1. # POSTED ON: October 24, 2007 @ 17:47 GMT -7 |

Sometimes people buy multiple copies if you are selling phone cards or software for which you need multiple codes to install on multiple machines. Even for things like ebooks, when an organization buys it .. they buy multiple copies if they want it for multiple people in the organization. # POSTED ON: October 24, 2007 @ 23:11 GMT -7 |

fair enough....I suppose we wouldn't complain about multiple payments....just seems like an odd way to do it. # POSTED ON: October 25, 2007 @ 10:39 GMT -7 |
