I would like to get an answer to this as well. It's annoying that for every item I add to may shop I have to go in and add amp; after every & in order to make the code valid xhtml and now I don;t know how to fix the onClick problem. Also method="POST" should be method="post".

Can you not have a tick box to specify that you want valid XHTML code and for the e-junkie site to generate it so as to avoid all this extra editing required?

the only way I have found to fix this is to use the no-javascript option - this opens the shopping cart in a new browser window/tab instead and then when you select 'close' or 'continue shopping' the shopping cart window/tab disappears and you get taken back to the original page you were on...well this is what happens in Firefox on a PC - not sure what it's like in other browser or oon a Mac.

Ya I'm still waiting for an answer. I HAD a valid xhtml site untill i started using e-junkie. My job is to find low-cost e-commerce solutions for clients as well as produce sites that are valid xhtml format. I have 148 products that I had to personally change the "&" to "& amp ; " ...times that by 3, given the fact that there's 3 of those for each button. Plus the other things. I had to spend 2 days on that literally without having to charge the client for the hours spent on it because I felt it was a personal duty of mine.

This is an obvious issue for me and others...when can we expect a concrete answer?
Do I just go ahead and start shopping around for other e-carts? I'm getting the impression that I should of already started. I'm not knocking this e-junkie cart as far as functionality is concerned. It's a good cart, but it has not met my standards in what an online e-cart solution should be. Help me out here guys.... any solutions? convince me otherwise.

Kind Regards

Hermes, just replace the capital C in onClick to small one, all letter need to be small, for example: onclick="" ... instead of onClick=""

BTW, unless you have to interoperate within a larger XML framework that requires you to use XHTML, you may find this post of interest (and may save you some needless headaches!):
