Please can you confirm and clarify that your service enables a shopper to complete their purchase using any major credit card, without having to sign up with e.g. PayPal or Google Checkout?

PayPal standard give buyers an option to pay with credit card if they don't have a PayPal account. If you want to accept credit cards, you can will need a PayPal Pro or Authorize.Net account, both of which are supported by E-junkie.
