That will depend on how many tracks you have in a CD and encoding quality of the MP3s.

A full CD typically holds between 650 to 700 mb.

Yeah, but that's when you rip the WAV off of an audio CD. Compress those to mp3, you are probably going to end up with 70-100 MB

Not how many MP3's can you fit on a CD. There was no mention of MP3 at all.
I don't think there is any question about the more you compress a file the more you files you can fit on a CD.
Would you really waste the empty space on a CD or would you fill it to capacity?
The storage capacity of the CD does not change, it still has a maximum which is between 650-700mb. Thats why they print the capacity in MB on most CD's
