That will depend on how many tracks you have in a CD and encoding quality of the MP3s. # POSTED ON: March 12, 2008 @ 11:17 GMT -7 |

A full CD typically holds between 650 to 700 mb. Hope this helps # POSTED ON: March 12, 2008 @ 12:28 GMT -7 |

Yeah, but that's when you rip the WAV off of an audio CD. Compress those to mp3, you are probably going to end up with 70-100 MB # POSTED ON: March 13, 2008 @ 23:49 GMT -7 |

I think the question was: <quote> How much MB would about 50 cd's be? </quote> Not how many MP3's can you fit on a CD. There was no mention of MP3 at all. I don't think there is any question about the more you compress a file the more you files you can fit on a CD. Would you really waste the empty space on a CD or would you fill it to capacity? The storage capacity of the CD does not change, it still has a maximum which is between 650-700mb. Thats why they print the capacity in MB on most CD's # POSTED ON: March 14, 2008 @ 06:00 GMT -7 |
