I'm still not understanding how a customer purchases a gift certificate and passes it on to the person receiving the gift.

Creating the gift certificates and selling them are "two" separate processed. After creating gift certificates, you can give them away or sell them offline or do anything else.

If you want to sell them online, then basically you are simply selling a "code" from a list. To see how you can sell code using E-junkie, please see "selling codes" section in our help page.

The code will still only be delivered to the person purchasing the gift certificate.
