Shipping charges for more than one of the same item

I'm selling t-shirts and they are set at $25 each. My shipping is $5 for US deliveries and $12 for international deliveries. If someone only purchases one t-shirst that's fine. But if they decide to buy two t-shirts the shipping cost gets double.

How can I set it up so that for additional t-shirts the shipping cost is increased by $1? so for two t-shirts the shipping would be $5+$1.

I've read all your helps files and faq's and searched the forums and tried the dicsount option with no success and I can't find a solution.

The closest we can get to this scenario is:

$5 for domestic shipping for first item and $1 for each subsequent item $12 for international shipping for first item and $2.40 for each subsequent item

If that's acceptable, please go to E-junkie seller admin > Shipping settings. Enter 1 in domestic price per ounce and 2.40 in international price per ounce. Set the weight of small box to 1 and price to 0.

Then, in your product settings, set the weight to 1, container to "small box", packaging capacity to 10000 (any high number).
