I am very interested in your product - In fact it looks too good to be true. I am based in Scotland however and sell in GBP Sterling. Would I be able to do this or is it Dollars only? I write and sell Knitting Machine Pattern books but I would also like to offer a downloadable Pdf version. Could I have both products on my website? # POSTED ON: March 27, 2008 @ 20:14 GMT -7 |

Yes, E-junkie can be used to sell digital as well as tangible items. While adding or editing a product in E-junkie, you can specify the currency you want to sell it in. PayPal offers a choice of 16 currencies. If you are using Google Checkout and are based in UK, then you can only use GBP. # POSTED ON: March 27, 2008 @ 20:14 GMT -7 |

Good, but how do we go about selling BOTH products on the website. That is, to sell a single product that can be purchased—for different prices—as DIGITAL of TANGIBLE? I have tried defining "variants", but then paypal thinks that my "digital download" variant is a tangible product, and tacks on a shipping fee. So, I see that the "variants" must apply to tangible goods only. I have read other help files as well, but none that seems to address this. If we want to make available a single product that can be purchased as DIGITAL DOWNLOAD or TANGIBLE ITEM, do we actually need to create two different items within our Admin/Store? If not, can you please show the exact steps needed to configure everything properly? MANY thanks! ~ Rick # POSTED ON: September 6, 2010 @ 05:24 GMT -7 |

Yes, if you want to offer a choice of download vs. hardcopy without a download, then you will need to set those up as separate products: one product using the Single File Download setting, the other one using the Shipping/Buyer's Address setting. Enabling Single File Download and uploading a file for a product will result in that download always being issued for all sales of that product; there is no way to disable the download depending on Variants or any other product setting. However, you could have a single product that always issues a download and always triggers collection of the buyer's address, and use Variants to offer a more expensive version that also mails a hardcopy in addition to the instant download. # POSTED ON: September 7, 2010 @ 13:48 GMT -7 |
