I'm about to release version 2 of one of my Flash Components. I'd like to do the decent thing and offer a discount to those who've bought the previous version. But I'm worried that a discount code might make it into a wider domain, and I'd prefer all new customers to be paying the same price. I'm not sure how to approach this. Any suggestions? # POSTED ON: October 26, 2007 @ 11:04 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: November 8, 2007 @ 13:26 GMT -7 |

When you create a discount code, you can set it's total use count. If you set the use count to slightly more than the number of people you are sending it to then you don't have to worry even i it reaches a wider domain as after it has been used anticiapted number of times, the code won't work. # POSTED ON: October 28, 2007 @ 04:59 GMT -7 |

OK. That's cool. Could you tell me how to set a total use count? I can't seem to find the info. Thanks. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 05:12 GMT -7 |

The field is at the bottom in Admin > Cart Discounts. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2007 @ 11:00 GMT -7 |
