E-junkie not generating emails to me or my customers
|

As of this afternoon, e-junkie is not sending email notifications to me, or download emails to my customers. I did a test transaction to myself to confirm.

They might have been delayed due to delayed IPN. Issue on our end was fixed at 15:20 Arizona time.

If you have a PayPal transaction logged but no matching transaction in your E-junkie logs, then that transaction was not initiated from your E-junkie cart buttons. When an E-junkie cart is sent to checkout, the very first thing it does is make a log entry for that Merchant here. No such log entry means your E-junkie cart was never involved in that particular transaction at any point.
Even if your site has no other cart buttons (e.g. PayPal buy-now buttons or the like), someone may still have paid you manually outside of E-junkie's system by simply sending a PayPal payment directly to your PayPal email. This can often happen in eBay auctions, where eBay sends the buyer an auction-won notice or an invoice email that contains a reference to your PayPal email, or when you have repeat customers who look up the PayPal email they used to pay you previously.

The transaction started in ebay. PayPal was paid and notified me. It never showed up in e-junkie for quite awhile afterwords.
Start from there with any replies.

I think I answered this in another forum thread already, but just to reiterate for anyone reading here:
If a sale originated from eBay (rather than originating from an E-junkie cart), then our system would only find out about the sale after PayPal confirms the payment is good and complete, and that's when our system would log the transaction and issue an email with any download links or codes. If the payment was funded by eCheck (or in some cases an Instant Transfer after regular banking hours), then that would delay PayPal for some time (up to several days for an eCheck) before they could notify us that a sale occurred. This means that if an eCheck bounces or there's NSF on an Instant Transfer, there is no way that a customer could obtain your merchandise beforehand, so you're never left holding the bag.

Holy smokes.
Still no answer.
Lets start from:
1 - Paypal notfied me of payment.
2 - It never showed up in e-junkie for a long time afterwards.
You guys stated that your system was up but it took forever to finally show up.
Why is that?
