Blocking Transactions

If I block a transaction, with an email address, name or paypal/google transaction ID, what happens when and where can I see any evidence of it in e-junkie:

When Paypal finally sends you a IPN notice? Does it do anything at all, send us an email, log the transcation?

When a customer matching any of that info trys to buy something off a website using an e-junkie cart? I m guessing we will take their money, store the transcation in the log and then what?

We send you an email informing that we did not process this transaction.

Money goes to your account as usual and we notify you that we did not process the transaction .. so it does not make it to transaction log.

Ok, looks like paypal hasn't caught up on their problems then. I believe I have one transaction that never made it through and you have not sent the email.

I wonder if paypal will just forget about the past transactions and move on.

It depends on the kind of IPN issue .. this time PayPal was not validating the IPNs .. which is unusual (unless it's a hack attempt) so we return a server error and PayPal will send the IPN again (in theory) .. and since they claim now that the issue has been resolved, the sales will be processed.

That's all in theory though and I'll suggest that you wait 24 hours and see if you start seeing sales in your E-junkie transactions logs.

In case you are selling codes, I will strongly suggest that you add the transaction IDs which you have manually processed in the block list in seller admin.

Transaction just came through and was blocked via e-junkie becuase the PayPal transaction id was put into my list. E-junkie sent me the notice.

PayPal took way too long to get this straigtened out.

This blocking feature using the transaction ID was a great idea!

Now who came up with that?
