"We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com." I get the above quoted message when I make a test buy from the e-junkie Buy Now on my website. I set this up a few hours ago and since then have checked that my PayPal email is entered in my e-junkie profile and that I have set my paypal account as directed by e-junkie instructions... Fran_C What else can I do? # POSTED ON: May 18, 2008 @ 12:40 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: May 18, 2008 @ 12:41 GMT -7 |

All I can suggest is to manually retype your PayPal email (the same email you use to log into your PayPal account) into your Seller Admin > Edit Profile. Perhaps you had just pasted it in previously and accidentally got an extra [space] or some other extraneous character in there? # POSTED ON: May 19, 2008 @ 14:04 GMT -7 |

Thank you Tyson... I had rechecked the paypal email in Profile a couple of times and found it to be correct - However in checking Website Preferences I found I had not checked the Paypal option and after doing that I redid my button, tested it and ..success...I had a paypal button insite the checkout page BUT when I pressed it I got the same message again about a problem with the email address so this time I went back and added one of two extra email address I have in my Paypal account and bingo that worked! I'm telling you all these details because they might serve someone else - I've had the main email address in Paypal since opening a business account in 2001 - yet when I added one of two extra addresses (recently added) to my e-Junkie it worked...mystery to me Fran # POSTED ON: May 19, 2008 @ 17:50 GMT -7 |

I'd like to add something else I discovered while sorting out the same bug. And that's the price. If you're trying to do a test at $0.00 (like E-Junkie suggests you do) and have it go directly to Paypal, you get that error. Paypal can't read 0.00 as a price, even though E-Junkie can. So if you're testing things out, make sure you fix the price to at least $0.01 and then the Paypal buttons will work beautifully. # POSTED ON: October 7, 2009 @ 00:13 GMT -7 |
