Affiliate code and free products

Before purchasing e-Junkie I need to know if it will do the following...

Support I have a free report on my site. It's not entered into e-Junkie as a product and the sign-up form etc is managed by Aweber.

My affiliates want to send people to my site to sign up for the free product thinking that down the road they may purchase a product. Is this possible? In reading through the faq's it looks ike the affiliate needs a specific product code? I'm thinking that the affiliate code could attach as a cookie to the recipient's computer so that my affiiate will get credit for later purchases, but not sure e-Junkie does this.

Thanks!

Yeah, that's pretty much how our Affiliate program works, in that our Affiliate links set a cookie good for 6 months (or whenever the prospect or their browser deletes their cookies!), so any Affiliate-eligible product that prospect purchases from your site within the next 6 months would tell the E-junkie cart to calculate a percentage back to the originally-referring Affiliate.

Affiliate links are configured on a per-product basis, so the Affiliate link codes we offer are "for" that particular product; however, each Affiliate "Hop Link" sends a user to whatever URL you specify, so you could just setup your Hop Links to point to your homepage or to any other page you choose on your site.
