Possible to have Customer Upload Image?

I'm starting a new store and was wondering if anyone has ever had a store that allows customers to upload an image file before they purchase? Think Cafepress and how you can create a custom item. Is something like this even possible in E-junkie? If not, where else would I turn?

We do not have a buyer-usable upload process that works with cart products, but you might be able to set up something like that yourself separately. Perhaps you could provide a link URL in the thank-you email for that product, so buyers could click that link to reach your upload page and provide a file to go with their product?

Another idea: perhaps you could paste the HTML of your upload form directly into your thank-you page, as well as providing a link to your own upload page in the thank-you email (just in case any buyers decline to continue to your thank-you page after Checkout).
