I want to sell my ebooks using E-Junkie via my own website based in Australia. Do I need to charge VAT for EU buyers? Do I need to charge sales tax for US/Canadian buyers? Can you explain how your tax system works from a seller's perspective, such as how does the seller forward VAT collected from EU buyers? If my ebooks are stored on, and distributed via your servers does this mean that buyers are effectively buying from E-Junkie for tax purposes? # POSTED ON: October 26, 2007 @ 15:27 GMT -7 |

E-junkie is a technology provider. We provide a shopping cart and digital delivery. You are the seller in this scenario and I believe it would be better for you to decide, considering your present laws, who needs to pay tax. Please see http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.tax.php for help with the topic. # POSTED ON: October 26, 2007 @ 15:30 GMT -7 |
