I have been trying to figure this out on my own through the help section etc. but it is just escaping me.

Let's say that I a tangible product that I sell and I want to have a drop down box on my site to offer different quanities for different prices. For example, 1 for $7, 2 for $13, 3 for $16, etc.

How would I do this. Thanks in advance.

Kevin

You would configure a single product with the "Variants which affect price/weight/stock/SKU" setting enabled, then on the Define Variants screen, specify Option 1 Name as something like Quantity or QTY. Below that, you would create a line of specifications for each quantity "level" you want to offer following our standard format of: SKU,Price,Ounces,Stock,Option1Value,Option2Value,Option3Value

E.g.:
1Pk,7.00,5,1,1-Pack,,
2Pk,13.00,10,1,2-Pack,,
3Pk,16.00,15,1,3-Pack,,
etc.

That will automatically add the dropdown menu to your Add to Cart button code, so just make sure you copy the entire button code and paste that into your page.

I have been working with this and I have run into a new snag. I set my drop down choices to be:

A1kit,5.75,5.00,1,$5.75 for 1 kit,,
B2kits,8.50,10.00,1,$8.50 for 2 kits,,
C3kits,11.00,15.00,1,$11 for 3 kits,,
D5kits,17.00,20.00,1,$17 for 5 kits,,
E10kits,31.00,25.00,1,$31 for 10 kits,,
F20kits,60.00,30.00,1,$60 for 20 kits,,

All is fine until I save the changes and get the button codes. No matter what I do, the system will not keep my code in the correct order. The above magically changes to the following thus messing up how my drop down choices look on my site. How can I fix this and keep the code from changing. I just want my drop down choices to be in order. Thanks in advance.

C3kits,11.00,0.00,1,$11 for 3 kits,,
D5kits,17.00,0.00,1,$17 for 5 kits,,
E10kits,31.00,0.00,1,$31 for 10 kits,,
A1kit,5.75,0.00,1,$5.75 for 1 kit,,
F20kits,60.00,0.00,1,$60 for 20 kits,,
B2kits,8.50,0.00,1,$8.50 for 2 kits,,

Variants are re-sorted alphabetically by option values (your "$11 for 3 kits", etc. values), so you could either prefix your alphabetic letter IDs inside those values (e.g., "A: $11 for 3 kits", etc.) to keep your preferred order automatically, or you could just reorder your button code to put the menu options back into whatever order you wish (it doesn't have to match the order in your Variants config screen :^) like so:

<option value="$5.75 for 1 kit">$5.75 for 1 kit</option>
<option value="$8.50 for 2 kits">$8.50 for 2 kits</option>
<option value="$11 for 3 kits">$11 for 3 kits</option>
<option value="$17 for 5 kits">$17 for 5 kits</option>
<option value="$31 for 10 kits">$31 for 10 kits</option>
<option value="$60 for 20 kits">$60 for 20 kits</option>

Thanks Tyson. I got it working and I did figure out the order didn't matter after I had posted. Thanks again.
