Automatic registration key issuer does not work anymore

Hello Robin,

I was planning to work on it today but got the following message? When i was trying to change the location of the remotely hosted script

"This product in not eligible for remotely hosted files"

What does this exactly mean as i have used this setup fro more then 4 years, without such a problem, might this be related to my reg code problem.

Please let me know what's happening as i can not afford to have my customers not receive the reg code and now also it looks like they will not receive a download link

Both have worked nicely for a year together, so I do not understand why this is all of a sudden changed.

If you want more money just let me know how to do this, as I paid a yearly fee, to avoid the monthly cumbersome admin process of filing each payment

Regards

Menno

Menno, if you are not on $18 plan, then the system will not let you add a remotely hosted file. Although this restriction was there since the beginning, we never enforced it till around 10 months back.

This does not affect your existing products, unless you are trying to edit them. I don't see however that why you need to edit the product as you simply need to add a few lines of code to your keygen.

mennomight this be related to my reg code problem.

Monthly subscription payment is "automatically" posted by PayPal from your account to ours. It's in fact cumbersome for us to track manual payments and upgrading or downgrading those plans are impossible for us as we are not offering manual annual payments anymore.

Please go ahead and subscribe to $18 plan from E-junkie seller admin. Once you do that, please let us know and we'll refund you for the unused period from your annual payment.

Just to clarify/expand Robin's point about monthly subscription payments, when you go to Seller Admin>Start/Update Paid Subscription and choose a subscription plan level, that will take you to log into your PayPal account where you will approve an auto-recurring monthly payment schedule. Once you approve this payment initially, the subsequent monthly payments "just happen" without any manual attention required from you nor us.

In that case Menno, I think the only thing left for us to do is to take a look at your PHP code. You can e-mail it to me and I can see if I figure out what's the issue, and if not, I can add some diagnostic code to it and send it back to you.
