I am looking at solutions to roll out to a number of clients. In particular I am doing a ticket (as in events) system for 2 sites in the next week or so. Doing this relies on the ability to get the number of tickets (products) sold back in the GET method when the user is sent to the “thank you” page- x amount of e-tickets will be created depending on the number of tickets bought.

Looking at the following page:

There seems to be nothing in the URL that would indicate this. I would love to be proven wrong in this case?
Is there anything that could be done with the custom variable in this case?
Or a solution I have missed?

I suggest against using redirection for this purpose.

Instead, use our 3rd party integration, which will not allow potential quantity tampering:
