I see this discussed a lot on this board, but I'm hoping for an answer to one very specific question.

This is NOT about google analytics...

I have included the google adwords conversion tracking snippit on the E-junkie generated thank you page.

On Google adwords, it asks you if you want to verify that the tracking code is working. You are supposed to provide the URL of the thank you page. As E-junkie generates this, I'm not sure what is the exact URL to enter to confirm it works.


So my question - Will google adwords conversions be tracked, even if I haven't verified that they will work?

Or another question... What it the URL of my thank you page generated by E-junkie so that I can verify (using adwords) that it works.


I suppose I could make a separate thank you page and use an i-frame to point to it, but reading the FAQs it appears that causes some problems and that E-junkie recommends I don't do that? It is really hard to figure out as most discussions on this topic break down into discussions about google analytics, which this has nothing to do with.

Thank you page is dynamic so, if you want to verify the Adwords conversion code, you can set your product price to 0, go through the "Free Checkout" (you'll have to use our ADD TO CART button code) and then use the URL of the thank you page you land on.

As for whether or not the Google Adwords tracking code will work without verification, you'll need that to confirm with Google Adwords.
