Hello, (1) I started my Adwords campaign at 1:00 am and paused it at 8:am EST. Basically it was running last night on Eastern time. I had a few clicks which under normal circumstances should have given me at least 2-3 sales. But I had nothing. I checked in the morning (8-10 am EST) and it seemed to me that Paypal was down. I checked from 2 different IP's. Then I stopped my campaign as I was loosing money. Basically my PayNow E-junkie button would show the "waiting" circle and never actually reach Paypal. I looked everywhere and I saw nobody complaining (Google News, webmaster forums, here, etc.) Did you guys notice anything or was it a localized incident. Even at around 10pm that I was able to log-in to my Paypal not all links were functional, so I am positive this was (is) Not a E-junke issue. (2) By the way, even the last couple of days when everything was smooth and running during my tests, I still notice the same damn delay from Paypal. It's a constant factor even before implementing the E-junkie buttons and i was working with regular PayPal buttons. I mean, the delay is 6-8 seconds. That's a long time in internet marketing as people change their minds and you loose customers. Anything I can do about it? Settings in my Paypal account? Any comments? TIA steve # POSTED ON: September 4, 2008 @ 08:12 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: September 4, 2008 @ 08:19 GMT -7 |

When I logged into my paypal account last night, I noticed a notice that said paypal would be down for that night. It is working for me now. # POSTED ON: September 4, 2008 @ 10:22 GMT -7 |

Hey, Just today I'm getting paypal problems too. It seems to happen sporadically. Not all transactions but some. # POSTED ON: September 4, 2008 @ 10:50 GMT -7 |

PayPal has had a few problems in the past 24 hours. The first which should be resolved caused their site to be slow and intermittent API timeouts. http://www.pdncommunity.com/pdn/blog/article?blog.id=mts_updates& message.id=267#M267 The other which is on going is causing problems with IPN: http://www.pdncommunity.com/pdn/blog/article?blog.id=mts_updates& message.id=266#M266 # POSTED ON: September 4, 2008 @ 10:57 GMT -7 |
