After 12+ sales and my Log is empty

Hello,

I believe I did everything right for setting up my first e-junkie Buy Now button for my eBook.
I also checked by sending an email to myself (as suggested in the help) from my Admin center and Indeed I get the link.

Two issues so far:

1) Although I do get an Email from E-junkie almost simultaneously with Paypal for every order, my customer list (Transaction Log) is empty. Funny, I got myself included in the "Free Downloads log" .
Any ideas? I hope it doesnt take an account upgrade for this.

2) After only 12+ sales and 3 of my customers have complained that they didnt receive the "download".
i.e. They were not redirected properly to the Thank you page (I ALSO include the link there). And, they didn't receive the email. I know sometimes it goes into the SPAM box and the redirection can be tricky if they miss the link but that's 25% so far !!! My main reason for using this service is to avoid these types of cpmplains and refunds and concentrate on support.

3) Is there a way to test the system repeatedly form a buyer's perspective ?
Do i need to setup a paypal test account or create a $0.01 Button ? Is there an internal mechanism for testing the whole process and not just the email.

Thanks in advance !!!
-S

Steve,

Make sure you've logged into the correct account when checking the transaction logs. If you are certain you are, please send us a copy of the email you are receiving from E-Junkie to support@e-junkie.com

The best way to test your setup is to create a $.01 priced product and make an actual purchase.

Thank you,

Regarding your answer:
What do you mean by the "Correct account" ??? I only have one account, one product and one email address associated with this and my Paypal account. Can you be more specific.

Also you did not answer my question #2. :)

Regarding question #3, If I do that Paypal will complain that i try to pay myself and won't let me (?). I haven't tried with E-Junkie but i did in the past.

Thank you !

Steve,

By correct account I was suggesting that you might have more than one account. Since you only have one, then we'll want those E-Junkie emails you are receiving to help us get to the root of the problem.

As far as the 3 buyers that did not get directed to the Thank You page, it could be related to whatever reason the transactions aren't showing up in your E-Junkie transaction log. (which is why I didn't answer the question). If those purchases were made during the period of time when PayPal was experiencing problems, that could be why. We have posts on our Status Forum with the PayPal downtime information.

This might not apply to you since you are just starting but you will need toknow if for the future after many sales:

The transaction log is actually tricky and not as you would think.

Make sure you select the correct dates to make sure you show what you want it to show and hit 'display'.

Correct, paypal wont let you buy from 'yourself'. Yourself is defined as same account that is getting paid the money. Only way around it is if you have mutiple paypal accounts. using ejunkie has nothing to do with it. it has to do with whos collecting the money and whos paying the money in paypal. Cant be same account with that email in the list of emails for that account.
