When I put an 8 in Inventory Control settings does that number itself decrease to 7 after a purchase. In other words, after I go back in and look at that number setting will it now say 7 automatically?

The wording does not fully describe this. I assume it will descrese the number each time and I can go back in there and change it again if I get more stock - adjusting the number back up each time without causing problems?

Whether you are entering the stock (while adding the product) or whether you are editing the stock (while editing the product) .. you are essentially entering the current stock.

So basically, you only add the "initial" stock when you add the product and from there on, you will be editing the current stock.
