Could really use some help on this problem. I'm at a bad crossroads for my site.
I've looked at the variant information, and so far I haven't seen how to do what I want the shopping cart to do. Basically, we offer personalized marathon DVDs, and so people can buy them for themselves or they could buy them as a gift for someone else. Somewhere in the purchase process, we'd like to be able to collect the runner's name and/or bib number. Does E-Junkie allow you to collect any info like this in fields? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might set this up? We're also using WuFoo and I know there must be a solution to this somewhere, but I'm not seeing it. Our site is www.myracedaydvd.com Thanks, everyone.

Our VARIATIONS feature lets you add up-to 3 text field to the ADD TO CART button. That should do that you need.

If you enable the "Variations which tell more..." setting for your products, then on the next product config screen you can name some options (e.g. Runner Name and Bib Number); below the option names, if you do not provide a pre-determined list of buyer-selectable values for any any option, then the Add to Cart button code we provide for that product would include a blank text field where the buyer could type their own value before the add the item to cart.
