setting up first product need some help

made my product
added the size options
added the add to cart and view cart buttons
click the add to cart and get an error that says my cart it empty and the product is out of stock?
where can i put in inventory for each size shirt etc.?

also how do I enable the nice checkout popup feature that the "test our service" link has? Mine at the moment opens a new window with this information?

Sounds like you did not create the variants properly. When you check "needs variants" box, on the next screen you can define options, their values, weight, stock and individual price.

I still don't understand the inventory part
whats the difference between variations which tell more about the product ordered and variants having individual price/weight/stock/sku. How can i have different stock quanitites for different sizes and e-junkie keep track of the inventory?

figured it out I believe, had both variations enabled, had to only enable one and go from there

Glad to hear you got it sorted out! BTW, we allow both Variants and Variations to be checked, so you can have up to 6 buyer-selectable option values for a product -- 3 options which affect price/weight/stock, and 3 options which do not.
