Hi I got the following problem. When customers try to purchase through e-junkie/paypal. they get an message from paypal that states "Sorry — your last action could not be completed" Search tyhe net on "Paypal Sorry — your last action could not be completed" You will see many people are having this problem with Paypal, and that paypal does not respond to any querries on this. It appears to happen with anybody using I.E and when a payment page is opened in a frame Can you check on this and let me know how to fix this? Maybe a different cart button may help? I use the simple e-junkie buy button. Regards Menno # POSTED ON: October 19, 2008 @ 16:23 GMT -7 |

Menno, in addition to Tyson's comments at http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/2911 .. I'll like to point out that PayPal or any payment processor does not really like being opened in a "frame" .. so maybe you should try not using the PayPal in a frame and maybe that will fix the issue. # POSTED ON: October 21, 2008 @ 03:33 GMT -7 |

Finally, I found the fix for my case of "Sorry — your last action could not be completed" from ebay to paypal. It's not the frame as one website said. It's simply that I got an expired credit card and a PO BOX associated with that credit card. So I simply replace that credit card with another credit card that has the billing address of my apartment. Then delete the PO BOX address from my profile and I was able to confirm and pay. # POSTED ON: April 13, 2009 @ 06:52 GMT -7 |

Hm, interesting; that may have something to do with settings in the Seller's account requiring a Verified buyer's address or no PO Box addresses (since UPS/FedEx cannot deliver to a PO Box). Thanks for sharing! :^) # POSTED ON: April 13, 2009 @ 14:16 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: April 13, 2009 @ 14:17 GMT -7 |

A purchaser of mine had a problem yesterday that involved Internet Explorer. He was OK when he tried with Firefox. # POSTED ON: November 20, 2009 @ 07:20 GMT -7 |

Did your buyer specifically get the message "Your last action could not be completed"? Also, what is the URL of your website and a what step did the error occur? # POSTED ON: November 20, 2009 @ 11:44 GMT -7 |

The information I have is sketchy: "I just attempted to purchase your book from your website and after three “SORRY” messages from PayPal..." "Here’s something interesting, I was unable to connect via Internet Explorer but I am having success via Mozilla Firefox." I am assuming the first attempted purchase was through the e-junkie system "http://www.myhopeseries.com" however he ultimately purchased through a different site I maintain http://www.financialhopeseries.com which functions without an automatic download. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2009 @ 10:25 GMT -7 |

I just tested your site on IE and Firefox for Windows as well as Firefox and Safari for Mac. I was able to add your product to the cart and click the PayPal button in the cart and I was taken to PayPal's site with all of them. The error is likely specific to the buyers computer. # POSTED ON: November 21, 2009 @ 11:35 GMT -7 |

PayPal Fix - Silver Bullet I had the same issue with PayPal after making an Online purchase. I tried everything including opening up new windows and rebooting but it seemed to be locked on the error page no matter what. I could not log in or out of the Paypal error page using Firefox 3.6.8. I could however use IE to access the Paypal web site with no problem. I called Paypal to get help and fortunately reached someone who knew how to fix it. The first thing is to make sure that cookies are enabled. My version of Firefox enables cookies by default so unless you have an exception for PayPal to not enable cookies it will always be enabled. Early versions of Firefox may be different so you should double check the settings for yourself. Also to be 100% sure that PayPal cookies specifically are enabled I was advised to manually add one to be certain it is not part of the problem. To do this go to Tools, Privacy and then from the pull down menu select Use Custom Settings for History. From there make sure that Accept Cookies from Sites and Accept Third-party Cookies is checked. Then click on the Exceptions button then under the window Address of Web Site type Paypal.com and then click on allow. After I did this I still had the same problem with loading Paypal but it may help depending on what is causing your issue. The final thing to do which is the only thing that worked for me is to go to Tools, Clear Recent History, and then from the pull down menu select Everything and than click the Clear Now button. This was the Silver Bullet! Good Luck and hope it solves your issue :) # POSTED ON: August 12, 2010 @ 09:34 GMT -7 |
