I currently have about 15 products that I have affiliates linking to - my question, is if I remove them from being active in my account, will their links still work or give them credit for the purchase? I have over 2000 affiliates, and most of them have used affiliate links generated by these products, but since the products are obsolete now, I'd like to remove them from the link option. Make sense? # POSTED ON: November 1, 2008 @ 13:06 GMT -7 |

Are you using "hop link" or "direct link" in your affiliate settings? # POSTED ON: November 1, 2008 @ 15:10 GMT -7 |

Ok, that's good. Deleting the products kills the affiliate links as well, but since you are using HOP links, I have a solution for you. In 15 days, we are launching a "common" affiliate program for your whole account. So you provide a URL, a percentage and that's it. So program won't be associated with products individually. Once this is launched, you can delete the products and the dead affiliate links will automatically repoint to your common URL (as long as they are the "hop" link ones). # POSTED ON: November 3, 2008 @ 13:35 GMT -7 |

I see the common affiliate program is in place - is there a way to remove the product links from my affiliates drop down menu, without having to delete the products from my admin panel? # POSTED ON: November 7, 2008 @ 09:46 GMT -7 |

Hi Brian. You can remove the product links from your drop down menu by disabling Hop Links for each of those products and set the percentage to 0%. # POSTED ON: November 7, 2008 @ 16:56 GMT -7 |
