Selling digital software downloads with Amazon combined with e-junkie?

We are thrilled with e-Junkie...you guys just get better and better, thank you!

We are thinking about trying to sell through Amazon to make use of their SEO and the fact that they might suggest our software to people buying related items. Is it possible to use Amazon and have the download, payment and code activation integrated with e-junkie? Do you have any suggestions on how to make this work in any capacity? We're looking for any suggestions. Also, it's really tough to find information on Amazon about selling digital downloads. If this can integrate with e-junkie, can you suggest which kind of Amazon account would be needed? Thanks!

At the moment, we cannot integrate with Amazon-based payments/checkouts, although it has been suggested before and I think we have at least looked into it as a possibility.

Offhand, I don't know if Amazon might have any provision to bypass their checkout system and instead paste our purchase-button codes or URLs into your product descriptions on their site, but that's about the only approach I can think of that might work at present.

Hi Tyson, Thanks for the fast answer. I will check with Amazon to see if that is possible. I hope you guys might look more into this also (for the future). I believe it would be a great feature that would add even more value to your great service. Thank you again!

can anyone give me some help on how digital downloads work? I sell more than digital items on ebay so I want to make sure they only get the download when they pay for the item that gets the download. I saw how to upload the file but from there I seem to be lost.. Any help would be great!

Specific instructions for using our system with eBay are here:
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.ebay.htm

Basically you will have to set your PayPal account to send us notifications for all of your payments, and set your eBay auction name to be an exact match to your product's name in our system.

Whenever we get a notice from PayPal concerning an auction that has the same name as your product we'll send out a download link. All of the details are on the help page above.
