Cart on Two Pages

How do I have the same cart on two pages? For example, we have a products page and a donation page. I want to place a "view cart" button on both pages and have the visitor be able to place products and donations into one cart. Right now, if I place items into my cart on the donation page, then visit the products page and click on "view cart"... it is a new cart...

Thanks,
Kim

Make sure every page which has any Add to Cart buttons also has at least one block of our View Cart code as well -- that's what makes our nice cart overlay display work and allows the overlay cart to keep track of its contents from one page to another.

If a page is missing the View Cart code, any Add to Cart buttons on that page will fallback to work in a popup window/tab. However, items added to a popup cart cannot also appear in the overlay cart and vice-versa. The non-JavaScript version of our button codes (if you uncheck the box indicated on our Get Button Codes screen) would also use the popup cart mode, so you should not mix'n'match our standard cart button codes with the non-JavaScript versions of the code.

Thanks!! It works now. I think that my problem was that I was copying the VIEW CART code from one page to another... This time I went to e-junkie nad copying some fresh code for the second page and it works.

Ah yes, if you're using a visual-layout Web page editor, just copy-pasting the View Cart button from one page to another won't work, as there are extra lines in the View Cart code that aren't part of the button link itself, and those extra lines are what actually makes the cart overlay work. :^)
