cart buttons stopped working overnight...how to fix?

I got an email from someone trying to buy one of my downloads saying the cart buttons aren't working. I went through and changed them all. The code was different, but they seemed to work. I was using Opera.
When I checked the new buttons in Firefox 3, they didn't work. About 5 minutes later, they stopped working in Opera, too. And they don't work in IE either.
What's going on? any suggestions on what I can do on my end? I've been using e-junkie for about 6 months and never had a problem before. But this really concerns me...how many buyers didn't bother to email me? how many sales am I losing while I'm typing this?

Another customer just contacted me, saying he was able to purchase by right clicking on the button & opening a new page. That works, so I put instructions on my sales page.
BUT the buttons should work without needing instructions. Where are you guys???

customer email:
Hi Audre, I'm trying to buy the long tail package - Energy Efficient - but the ejunkie Add to Cart button is not working . If you send me your p/p addy I can send the money to you that way if there is a prob with ejunkie.
from another customer:
...PS - Oh, BTW the add to cart links aren't working right in FF? I had to right click and select "open in new tab" to get the stuff in my cart and then again to checkout...
from 3rd customer:
Just read your WSO and attempted to order - no luck!
I did follow the instructions to right click and it still didn't work :(

Your view cart button code is incomplete. It's missing the box.js line altogther.

well...the buttons worked for the past 2 weeks. Then they stopped working sometime last night. I hadn't changed anything.
I went in this morning and created new buttons. I'm using the code that the button page gave me when I follow the directions to "right click - select all - right click - copy".
Sounds like I should select and copy by hand.
But that doesn't explain why the codes that used to work stopped working, and why some people are successfully purchasing and others can't....
I'll go back and change all the codes again. But there's something else up...???

There is _nothing_ broken except the code on your page. Maybe the JS was disabled in your browser and that's why it was ignoring the incomplete JS on your page. In which was the cart will indeed work for you, but in "new window" mode and then you recently enabled JS in your browser.
Like I said earlier, you can check our client's shops or our demo page to see that nothing's broken on our end.

I just now went back and copied all new code again (by hand this time...did not use the "right-click" directions). Everything seems to be working ok...for now.
Again...it does not explain how the good code that was there for the past 2 weeks "broke" overnight. for other people. Unless...are you saying the java settings on their browsers weren't working right? maybe there's a virus changing the java settings in people browsers?

Usually JS is on in everyone's browser. I doubt a browser will "disable" it.
Anyway, since we don't host your site/blog code, we can't determine if maybe there was a backup restored or something which might have broken code on your end.
