Will Disabling Specific Product Hop Links Still Count For Affiliates?

I currently have a number of products that people can use affiliate codes for that are hop links. If I disable those, will their links still give them credit? What I want to do is just offer the common affiliate program link moving forward, but don't want to disable the product hop links if they won't get credit.

If you disable those, their affiliate links will simply start pointing to the URL you specify in the common affiliate program settings and they'll get the percentage specified there .. so basically, the links will act the same as if they'd gotten the common link.
