Affiliate Program Questions

Hi Folks,

Anyone know the answer to any of these questions related to using the affiliate program functions within an e-junkie account? I'd really appreciate it.

1. Can I award affiliates 100% of the sale? A typical affiliate percentage might be 50% payout. But can I reward a 100% payout on certain products?

2. Let's say I have ten products in your affiliate system. Can an affiliate promote product # 3 for instance with his affiliate link for that product and get rewarded for a sale of product # 7 even though the customer never directly clicked on to an affiliate link specifically for product # 7?

What if the customer purchases product # 3 via the affiliate's link and three months later he also decides to purchase product # 10 and #5. Will the affiliate get commissions for sales of those products even if they didn't link directly to those products? Assuming of course the customer still has the affiliate's cookie on his system.

3. Can I email my affiliates from your system? Or how would I get affiliates on my Aweber email list so I can communicate with them?

Thanks,

1. You can assign 100% share commission on a product, but of course then you aren't making anything on those sales for yourself. If you set a common percentage for all your products (in Seller Admin > Affiliate Program Settings), you can override that percentage for specific products (using "Setup product-specific Affiliate program settings"), and all Hop Links will earn the referring Affiliate the correct percentage.

2. Yes, that's exactly how our Hop Links work; you may be interested in this Forum discussion where we go into more detail about how our Affiliate features and the various link types work:

3. You can find Affiliate emails listed in your E-junkie Seller Admin > View/Edit Affiliates.

Thanks much Tyson,

Regarding emailing afffiliates. I'm talking about is there a way to automatically add them to my Aweber autoresponder account when they join my affiliate program?

Thanks, Roger

At the moment, we have no way to notify you when a new Affiliate joins nor to auto-subscribe new or existing Affiliates to any mailing list. You can only View/Edit Affiliates from your Seller Admin presently.

Hi - I am too interested in syncing my Affiliates with Aweber - so I can communicate with them - has there been any updates?

I want a way to communicate with my Affiliates via email
but with what I see available today - I would have to email each one to ask them to opt into my Aweber email list?

Any suggestions?
Thanks~
Holly

You can download a list of your affiliates' emails from the View/Edit Affiliates screen in your Seller Admin, then you should be able to import that list into Aweber. They should automatically receive a confirmation email from Aweber with a link they must click to confirm they wish to subscribe, so you'll probably want to customize the confirmation message to make it clear what the list is for.
