Is there a plan to cross sell items when one item is added to the shopping cart? # POSTED ON: March 14, 2009 @ 19:55 GMT -7 |

I am not aware of any plans for that in Development, but I will assign this to our Lead Developer's attention for future consideratin. You can however insert an Add to Cart button for any product inside the cart, or just insert a link to a product's page on your site, and you can even display a different button or link in the cart when the cart is viewed from different pages. This forum discussion goes into that approach: http://www.e-junkie.com/bb/topic/2848 # POSTED ON: March 15, 2009 @ 12:42 GMT -7 |

Thank you, that's not quite what I mean by cross sell. This is what I would like... When a product is added to the cart and the ejunkie Your Shopping Cart screen is displayed, then a list of my selected products is shown under the paypal and google checkout buttons with links to the product description. All of this information is avaiable within ejunkie now. For instance, when I create my products I can add "promote your other products" on the last screen of creating a product. I can also link each one of my products to a page on my site using the e-junkie shop and market place screens. On the 2nd screen I can list a details url and I can add a thumnail graphic. The products listed would be known by the selection on the last screen when creating a product called Promote your other products. With the above information, a thumb, description line, price and link could be displayed in the shopping cart to increase sales. # POSTED ON: March 15, 2009 @ 13:21 GMT -7 |
