Setting affiliate commission to 0% for certain affiliates

I was thinking about tracking links from some of my other sites into my product pages by setting up affiliate accounts for the different sites and just setting the commission rate to 0%. I obviously don't want to pay myself for referals, but it would be an easy way to track which sites generate sales. Is there a way to set affiliate percentage to 0% only for specific affiliates (me)?

Setting an affiliate share to 0% is the same as disabling affiliate sharing/tracking, so that won't work for what you're wanting to accomplish. However, you can set up a regular Affiliate program with normal % shares, and then join your own Affiliate program by clicking your own sign-up link (your existing E-junkie login will work fine for this) and get your common or product-specific Hop Link codes to place on those other sites where you link to your main product site/pages. To track which links resulted in which sales, you can add &aff_custom= to your Affiliate link URLs as recently described here:

Thanks Tyson. But then if I don't filter my affiliate earnings from my mass pay file, I'll end up paying myself for those leads, right?

Ah, right. You'd always want to edit your line out of your monthly masspay.txt file before submitting that to PayPal to pay your affiliates.
