PayPal payment email missing shipping

Just started with e-junkie. Went live an hour ago and tested it completely by paying for an order oursevles. The PayPal email notification of payment showed each of the items in the cart, plus sales tax, but no shipping! The shipping was indeed included in the total, but the shipping amount itself is not shown. This is a pain, as we process orders from the emails (we're not new to PayPal, just e-junkjie) and having to manually figure the shipping would be a hassle.
Please advise.

Addition: also, in PayPal itself, the shipping amount is showing up under "Handling". Is this an indication of something amiss, or does e-junkie shipping normally get passed as PayPal "handling"?

Yes, any Shipping amount calculated in the cart before checkout will show up as Handling in PayPal. They don't provide any way for a third-party cart like ours to pass an amount to them labeled as Shipping, but do provide a method to pass a Handling amount, so that's what we had to use. You should see the Shipping amount accurately reported in your E-junkie Sale Notification emails and in your E-junkie Seller Admin > View Transaction Log.

OK. Thanks for clarifying. When you say "E-junkie Sale Notification emails," is this something I turn on in the admin? We didn't receive such an email on the test transaction we submitted.

Whenever our system receives confirmation of completed payment for your products, an E-junkie Notification of Sale email is sent to the same email address you use to log into your E-junkie account (we also send other administrative notification messages to that email as well).
If you have not found these Notification emails, look in your spam/junk/bulk mail folder and be sure to mark them as Not Spam when you find them there. It's also a good idea to add notifications@e-junkie.com to your Address Book or Contact List with that email provider.

I whitelisted *@e-junkie.com yesterday. We just got another order (one tangible item), got the PayPal payment notification email, but no "E-junkie Notification of Sale" email. Does that not get sent with tangible items? Please explain and advise.

Just got a download-only order... no "E-junkie Notification of Sale" email with that one either. Just a copy of the download link email sent to the customer (because we have that option checked on our download products)

You should receive an E-junkie Notification for every completed sale purchase. This message would be sent to your E-junkie login email -- is that address able to receive email? Your account's PayPal email is different from your E-junkie login/notification email, so the PayPal receipt and E-junkie notification may each be getting delivered to different inboxes.
Note that, although PayPal informs you of a payment as soon as the buyer finishes checkout, it may take longer for PayPal to complete the actual payment process (funds actually extracted from the buyer's account and credited to your PayPal balance). In particular, eCheck-funded payments can take up to several days or longer to complete, as the banks process those payments just like a real, paper check.

We have our login email address set to the same as our PayPal email address. Is that OK?
The emails from PayPal are coming through just fine to that email address, just not the ones from e-junkie. We did get one notice from e-junkie (when there was a zip code discrepancy), so I think the address is indeed receiving emails from e-junkie, just no notifications for the normal orders that didn't have a zip code discrepancy.
These were not e-checks, but rather instant payments.
P.S. - Why did your last post show up under my name?

EdPP.S. - Why did your last post show up under my name?
Whoops! Sorry, I was logged into your account "as you" so I could check your account settings and see if you had any recent transactions logged (we can only do this to look at your settings and logs; we can't actually change anything in there).
You're saying you can receive other E-junkie Notification emails, but you aren't receiving any E-junkie Notification emails with the buyer's order data when a payment comes through? And they didn't wind up in your spam folder either? That's really strange, and you're the only one of our 5000+ sellers reporting this...
BTW, earlier I was looking at your PayPal subscription email (the PayPal account you use to send us monthly payments), which is different from your other PayPal email (where you receive buyer payments), and the latter does indeed match your E-junkie login email, so nevermind what I said there...
Yeesh, haven't had my coffee yet today, think I'll go get some now... :^)

Not anywhere in spam that I can tell (we do get a lot of spam, which I don't auto-delete, but rather forward to my personal yahoo account, but I've been checking there and have not seen any from e-junkie).
Strange... I'll let you know if I start to see them (they may all flood in at once, knowing the fickleness of the internet). Otherwise, we have what we need in the PayPal notices and the logs on e-junkie.
Thanks,
Ed

We just had a similar inquiry from another merchant, who eventually found that their domain host (GoDaddy in their case) had their own spam filters in effect, which prevented filtered messages from being forwarded to their specified recipient inbox accounts in the first place, so you might look into that possibility for your case.

Yes, I could ask our admins, but let me note that just this morning we received two emails from notifications@e-junkie.com: the first was a notice about you posting your reply to this thread; the second was a "E-junkie Notification - Sale - Possible Shipping/Tax Fraud" email, both to the same email address as the "E-junkie Notification of Sale" emails are going to (which we are NOT receiving). I suppose there may be some key difference in those emails that is triggering filtering software to block them.
