Buy Button always leads to 'payment processor has not yet informed us..'

Hi,

I am a new e-junkie user.

I have set up my buy now button but it's not working for me, help or suggestions appreciated.

I click the buy button on my website, I am directed to e-junkie, and then re-directed to paypal.

I enter credit card information make a successful purchase and am redirected to e-junkie with a URL that looks like : (possibly private params obsfucated :) )

https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/rp.php?**OTHER**PARAMS**&payment_status=Completed&pending_reason=&mob=&c_id=& c_enc=&noredirect=&client_id=******&comm=true

I expect e-junkie at this point to get a generated key from my website and present it to me (as the customer). Instead the e-junkie timer counts down to 0 and then says :

"The payment processor has not yet informed us about your payment. Your order will be processed as soon as they info...."

The transactions are complete in paypal but do not appear in e-junkie. The logging on the key generator webpage says that it was not requested, so E-Junkie hasn't asked my website for the key.

Where should I be looking to sort this out ?

Thanks for your help
Sam H

It sounds like PayPal has not yet informed our system that payment has completed. Your PayPal account may still be set up to require manual approval of each payment; when you manually accept a payment, you should see the option to automatically approve all further payments, which will allow PayPal to complete the payment and notify our system of that, so we can then process the sale promptly.

I am having the same problem. I can not get past the 'Payment process has not recognized ..." issue. PayPal is NOT set up for manual approvals. I have been all over both e-junkie and PayPal set up and can not figure out what I am doing wrong.

I would suggest that Check your PayPal account and see if the transactions are listed as completed. If they are login to E-junkie account and go to Seller Admin>View/Download Transaction Log to see if the IPN was sent from PayPal to E-junkie.

I'm having the same problem with the same message. I just signed up (selling an e-document), put the button on the site, I'm using my business account on Paypal and all settings have been set to what e-junkie says in their guide: http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/selling-with-paypal.htm

I don't know what's going wrong...

I get the money in my Paypal account, but as a buyer only get this page. I go to my (buyer) email account and all that shows up is a receipt from Paypal and nothing from e-junkie with a link to the product or anything...I checked my transaction logs in the e-junkie admin area and there's no transaction recorded...

If the payment status of the payments in your PayPal account is "Completed", then the issue could have been PayPal not sending us the IPN due to their maintenance (https://www.x.com/community/ppx/system_status/mts_updates/blog/2010/ 01/06/completed-scheduled-maintenance-pp-live-1028)

I was having that problem as well, even though E-junkie claims that you dont have to have an IPN with paypal, as soon as I put on in it worked.

Go to paypal settings, and allow IPN, enter https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/ipn_ext.php
in the url field and everything will work just fine
