I would like to create an affiliate program, but there are some things I don't understand, both conceptual and technical.

Is there a page somewhere or documentation that describes the process and terminology in detail? The help in the seller admin is pretty bad and not really helpful.

A complete walk through with all terminology explained would be great. Does it exist?

Nothing? Is the affiliate program intended for actual use? If so there must be some documentation on how it works somewhere, right?
