Two buttons, two services, one product

Hi all...I'm having a wicked time trying to get eJunkie to allow me to sell the same product, on the same sell page, one button for PayPal, one button for ClickBank.

Can anyone point me at references about this issue?

I have followed the eJunkie steps and the ClickBank steps, yet the button code from eJunkie reverts to the PayPal page.

Here's my sell page if you want to see what I've done about it so far: www.about-air-compressors.com/home-compressor.html

I sure would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Bill

First, make sure you have followed our ClickBank integration procedure for the product(s) you're selling:
http://www.e-junkie.com/ej/selling-with-clickbank.htm

After that has been done, when you Get Button Codes for the product, you would click the Buy Now Buttons tab to get the instant-checkout buttons you want. Since a Buy Now button takes a buyer directly to checkout, the button code you get needs to specify exactly which payment processor checkout the buyer will be taken to for that checkout.

Below the yellow box where we provide your Buy Now button codes, you will find a row of checkboxes. Just select the checkbox for PayPal Standard to get Buy Now button code for a PayPal checkout, then copy-paste that code into your page wherever you want the PayPal button. Then select the checkbox for ClickBank to convert the code to the version for a ClickBank checkout, then copy-paste that code into your page where you want the ClickBank button.

Tyson, thank you for your reply.

I have done all that you've noted.

When I try to get the buy now button, the only code option available to me is the PayPal one. All other options, including ClickBank, are grayed out and I cannot select them.

My product is "approved" at ClickBank pending a final approval after I do a test purchase. I can't do a test purchase as I can't get the code from eJunkie for ClickBank to put on my page.

Any further suggestions?

Thanks,

Bill

In your E-junkie Seller Admin > Edit Profile, have you specified your ClickBank Vendor ID and the Secret Key in the space provided? You might want to do that again, just to make sure it's in there correctly, and always remember to click Submit to save changes.

Did that...but will try again.

You know, at clickbank, there actually is no field called ClickBank Vendor ID. I expect you mean ClickBank user name?

Thanks,

Bill

I think Vendor ID may be distinct from Username? If you've been assuming Username will work for Vendor ID and they're actually different, that might explain the problem you're having. Please consult ClickBank help pages or support staff if you need assistance locating your Vendor ID on their system.
