I'm using google analytics to measure my site and I want to measure my "shopping cart conversion rate". That is for 100 people who click on my cart, how many actually place an order?
I've set up a goal funnel in GA and I'm finding 100% "shopping cart conversion rate", which seems suspicious to me.
The way I measure this is
1. Create a goal with goal URL of
https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/rp.php and type Head Match
2. Step 1 (starting point) are my sales pages that show the cart
3. Step 2 is the URL /ecom/gb.php
4. Step 3 is the URL /ecom/PayPalCheckout
I'm finding that 1.1% of people who view the sales page click on the cart, then 100% of people proceed to PayPal checkout and then on to the thankyou page (
https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/rp.php ). that is 100% of people who click on the cart end up on the thank you page.
Does this seem right?
