I have a client who wants me to set-up his cart so that affiliates get credit for the initial sale and also for lifetime re-orders. It seems to me that this is not possible with e-junkie's affiliate program? Or am I mistaken? Thanks - Ryan # POSTED ON: June 1, 2009 @ 22:14 GMT -7 |

Apparently the hoplink affiliate option sets cookies for 6 months. It would be helpful if I could set this for a longer time period - say 1, 2 or 3 years..... - Ryan # POSTED ON: June 2, 2009 @ 08:14 GMT -7 |

I will assign this to Development as a wishlist suggestion, but at present we can only set affiliate cookies that expire in 6 months, and even then there's always a chance the buyer could clear their browser's cookies, use a different browser or computer, etc. before the 6 months are up. Unless the buyer goes thru the affiliate's link for every reorder, at present we really don't have any way to support ongoing commission "residuals" like you propose. # POSTED ON: June 2, 2009 @ 13:06 GMT -7 |
