I want to sell certain items to US customers only. How can I set that up? # POSTED ON: June 10, 2009 @ 16:59 GMT -7 |

Go into Seller Admin > Cart Shipping Settings and select United States in the list of Shipping Destinations. Then in the settings of each product you will only sell to US buyers, enable "Shipping/Buyer's Address"; if you will not actually be shipping the product and don't wish to add any shipping charges for them, just leave their Weight set to 0.00. This will restrict sales of every product you have with Shipping enabled to US buyers only. # POSTED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 14:34 GMT -7 |

Thank you for your reply. But I don't want every product to be restricted from international orders. I want only certain products to be restricted. Is it possible? # POSTED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 17:37 GMT -7 |

If you will ship some products abroad and only ship other products domestically, then the only way to do that is by having two separate E-junkie accounts for US-only vs. Worldwide products. Since items from two different accounts cannot be added to a common cart (which you wouldn't want anyway -- e.g., what happens when a buyer adds a combination of US items and Worldwide items to the same order if they're not in the US?), you should probably also keep the US-only products on a completely separate site, or in their own subsection of your own site apart from the Worldwide products, so it wouldn't be likely for a buyer to wander back and forth between the two sites or subsections. # POSTED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 18:43 GMT -7 MODIFIED ON: June 11, 2009 @ 18:45 GMT -7 |
